Some midi loft bunk beds that have storage come with a desk built-in (as shown above) however, other models, such as our Luna midi-bunk, have the ladder on the right so that the table can be placed on the left. It's worth noting that most midi loft beds that have desks require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with wooden slatted bases. This isn't included in the cost of the bed, so we recommend taking a look at our fantastic mattress deals to find one that suits your budget!

Mattress
Most midi beds use standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk is equipped with a safety rail for added peace of mind. Some models come with an trundle drawer with a pull-out that can be used for sleepovers, or to add more storage space beneath the bed. These can be either open or fitted with doors (please check the product's specifications for more information).
A lot of midi cabins have desks that can be moved from one level to the other or chests. This gives children their own space to store all of their belongings. It also means that they don't have to make use of floor space by using bulky shelving or wardrobes.
Some models have gone one step beyond with cabinets that are flush mounted, or even part of the headboard/footboard. This is ideal for storage of books and toys.
